Mercury

How you think

Every planet in your chart stands for a part of you. Here's what Mercury covers, how to read it, and where to go next for your own placement.

What Mercury means

Mercury is your mind in motion: how you take things in, talk, text, plan and argue. It's also the planet of errands, emails and that list on the back of an envelope.

In your chart

The house Mercury sits in is the subject your brain keeps wandering back to. Its sign shows whether you think in lists, feelings, pictures or arguments.

When it visits your houses

When Mercury passes through a house, conversations, paperwork and second thoughts pile up there. Good for sorting things out, less good for making your mind up quickly.
